MULTIPROG and IEC 1131-3 deliver a software oriented approach that gives you the freedom you're looking for. Modeled after Microsoft's Developers Studio, MULTIPROG runs on Windows 95/98/NT and is used to develop applications for ALL KW's ProConOS run time systems, regardless of the CPU and operating system ProConOS is running on. Use MULTIPROG to develop your PLC application in any IEC 1131-3 language, then download, monitor, debug and edit on-line to bring your machine or process up quickly.

Flexible Communications to ProConOS Run Time

Applications are developed on a PC running MULTIPROG in Windows 95/98/NT, then downloaded to the target system running ProConOS. Communications between the MULTIPROG development system and the ProConOS target can be either RS232 via the PC serial port or over a network via TCP/IP. MULTIPROG can also communicate with the Windows version of ProConOS running on the same PC via an internal TCP/IP socket.
